In August 2005 an Association of Friends of "Father Joseph Kentenich’s birthplace" was founded to beautify the house in preparation for the World Youth Day in Cologne.
Its long-term aim is to renovate and preserve the house and adjacent buildings through donations.
The Association of Friends collects donations also through membership subscriptions and the sale of "bricks".
